Spring has arrived at eKhaya Bush Villa here on the beautiful Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate in the heart of the Greater Kruger Region. After one of the mildest winters on record, we seem to have skipped a slow transition to summer temperatures in favour of full-on heat, with superbly warm, sun-kissed days blending effortlessly into still wonderfully cool evenings, making our terrace and boma the place to be for pre-dinner drinks under the starlit African night sky.

Our pool has become a focal point for guests to cool off in on these warm spring days and chefs Izzy and Combretia are busy cooking up some fabulous home-cooked spring flavours incorporating the best of seasonal fruits and veggies.
