If there’s one thing that our wonderful Kruger National Park teaches us, it’s that you need to sometimes look at the bigger picture to negotiate challenging times! Here at eKhaya Bush Villa, we’re big on shifting focus and taking our cue from Mother Nature, so when we send our guests into Kruger we know their minds are going to be expanded! How could they not be by experiencing this incredible national park that’s a beacon for conservation the world over?

It’s sometimes too easy to focus on the obvious and ignore what’s partially hidden. At first glimpse the image of the Kruger Park above seems innocent enough – a parched winter landscape with zebra at a waterhole… Until you follow the intent gaze of the zebra and focus on the shapes in the shade! The lions aren’t trying to hide. They’re just easily overlooked. And that’s a pretty good life lesson to take away from our legendary African wilderness in these difficult times!

We’re weathering an enormous storm at the moment, but the sun is still there, it’s just hidden by clouds. And as soon as you are ready and able to travel again, eKhaya will be here, waiting for you, along with the magic that is wild Africa.
